what to do if he likes you but doesn't want a relationship???

okay so

I've been talking to this guy for a couple months and we finally hung out and he said to me "I'm confused. I like you, like a lot, but I just don't want a relationship." and I would normally understand that but he acts like my boyfriend when it's just us but it's like he's embarrassed of me around his friends and doesn't want people to know. he's also a really flirty guy so I feel like it could be because he flirts with other girls. should I stick around????
