Summer vacation with the baby

Julia

If you're planning a trip to the beach soon and you are as worried as I was, don't be. Babies really adapt faster than I thought.

I was honestly freaking out at the thought of going away for a whole week with the baby, visiting the seaside (what hotel to choose? What to feed her? What if it's too hot or the water is too cold?...).

Turns out it was not so bad in the end even if we didn't get any chance to rest, which is why we used to go on vacation in the pre-baby era 😅.

My LO ate plenty of fruits, vegetables and soups, loved bathing in the sea and playing in the sand.

Just make sure you bring on an extra set of clothes for the baby as you might have to change them several times during the day. Also, look out for cool things to do during that part of the day when it gets too hot to do anything that doesn't involve an air conditioner. We went to a dolphin show and an aquarium and she loved both. Oh, and if you can, pick a room with sea view just in case your baby will refuse to take naps on the beach or near the pool (as mine did).
