OPK tests: Anyone else have dark lines in the am and lighter lines later that day in the pm? I can't figure out if I'm ovulating or not. Please help. Thanks!

I have actually read to do a pregnancy test first thing in the morning, but to do a OPK test later in the day, around 2 pm, and to do it at the same time every day. I read that the LH surge is stronger at that time. I also read two hours leading up to taking the test to not drink liquids because it will dilute your urine. Hope this helps!

I personally haven't had trouble with diluted urine. I test twice a day am&pm until I get a peak and then in the am the day after my surge. If it's faint the next day I don't continue to test twice a day. But as you can see, my peak is for a day and I'm sure it shifts a bit each month so just keep an eye on your tests. Good luck!

Your pee is always stronger in the mornings as u pee more during the day so come next morning ur pee has stored and is stronger so will get better results for ovulation test and pregnancy tests in the morning x x
