My doctor from week 30 had told me that my daughter was head down. I labored 26 hours w oxytocin to try to get me to dilate past 2 cm and of course no epidural until 3cm. Finally at 4pm I dilated to 5, doc came in and my baby was breech. Hence no dilation because her head wasn't pushing on my cervix. Why they don't do routine ultrasounds as soon as your water breaks is beyond me. HELL experience but all worth it in the end. If my doc had paid attention I would never have went through labor at all.
