Gym time w/o your s/o?

Okay I’m not sure if my other one posted but I couldn’t find it, 
Anyways is it normal to be weird about my boyfriend going to a gym with out me? 
He never ask me to go, although I would love to. I’m just not sure if it’s just me that’s not okay with it or what.

I personally prefer to go to the gym alone. I have my headphones on and do my own thing. I don’t like going with friends or my so because they distract me. Hubby goes at a different time than me

Have you talked to him about wanting to go with him? Maybe he doesn't realize you want to come along. For me I usually prefer to go to the gym without my husband because I don't feel rushed on my own. Also it is basically the only alone time I have all day and I really need it.

I hated lifting with my ex. A dude would come up to talk to me and BOOM - there goes my lift for the day. 
I don’t think it’s necessary to lift with your SO and most the time it’s downright annoying.
Most people are there to workout - not socialize or sit on our phones.

I used to use working out as alone time and I’d run so it would be pointless to go with anyone because my pace is all over the place anyway. Just talk to him though

My Husband and I go together and usually split up for cardio and meet back up to lift. But I know a ton of couples that go separately just because they like “their” time. I always went alone before my Husband but he makes it fun and not a chore so I go even more because of him. 
Just tell him you’d like to go and see what he says. You’ll know if he just want “his” time to decompress from life, work, the world lol. The gym is so good for that.

Have you asked him about it? He can’t read your mind! Lol Just ask if he’s comfortable with it but don’t be upset if he isn’t because not everyone likes to workout with their partners. I don’t! But it won’t hurt to ask!
