Ladies, question please..

**It’s been 1-2 years since this, but it still bothers me to this day**

I was having a heavy period awhile ago while I was still with my ex. I was using the restroom and once I stood up, I noticed a large clot. I’m not talking a quarter size, it was big. I was curious, so I examined it (yes gross I know, but i was sexually active) and it was bigger, kinda thick and had an odd texture to it. My period before I got my IUD was always HEAVY as hell, but ever since then, I’ve wondered if I had a miscarriage. I had scares with my ex, and the thought of that larger, not normal looking clot has always stuck with me... can any of you ladies tell me if I’m crazy or if I had a miscarriage in the middle of a really heavy period? Every time I think of it, it bothers me, which tells me it wasn’t just a clot, but it could just be me.
