Need honest advice please

I’m due in about 7 weeks and I just honestly need opinions on what I should do for my child ... I don’t want to keep him away from his father but I feel like it’s for the best , these are messages he sent to another female talking about me today/this weekend while he was with me smh he’s also saying that he is trying to get fired or quit his job so he won’t have to pay child support and he’s not going to show up to court if I take him should I go ahead and get a lawyer?
