I make a bbq pulled chicken and it's amazing. Super simple. Also for the colder weather months there's a super super easy potato soup. Both fairly cheap and makes several servings. Let me know if you're interested in the recipes.

I usually just use it for ribs. I pull off the membrane, it's suppose to make it more tender if you take it off, cut it into 3 or 4 bone lengths. And pour water over (in crock pot) add some garlic, cook on low for at least 6 hours.

I usually test it with a fork to see how it's coming off the bone, the longer you cook it for the more tender it is! Also I find rotating the top ones to the bottom helps the top ones tenderize better. But I only do it when I think of it or am home to do it.

Then put on baking sheet, lined with tinfoil (easier clean up) and add your favorite BBQ sauce, shove in 350 oven until it gets brown and sauce is Carmelized, usually about a half hour and turning in between. Or throw it on the BBQ and do it that way.

Make whatever side you want with it. It's easy but it takes long.

Salsa chicken. Take 3-4 chicken breasts, 1 can of your favorite salsa (mango salsa is great for this) 1 cup water and salt and pepper. Let it cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken pulls apart easily. Great for sandwiches, chicken tacos, quesadillas. There's always leftover! In fall and winter I make it like 1X a week 😊
