Is anyone else’s husband just kinda “eh” about baby? He’s excited for her but ... I’ve just seen dads that come home everyday and talk to the belly or rub on it all the time and that just isn’t my husband. I say things like, “She’s moving a lot, do you want to feel?” And he says, “No, I know what it feels like.” And goes about his day. Or she will be making huge moves that I find really funny and fascinating and I can’t get him to watch for more than 2 seconds. He’s just not interested. I’m probably just being over sensitive. Pregnancy just feels really lonely sometimes. And I have this fear that being a mother in my house will too.

We are having a couple’s shower soon and I wish it wasn’t for him too. I’m going to be so embarrassed and heartbroken if he looks bored and disinterested the whole time.
