Baby shower outfit ideas? 🤰🏻👗👚👖

So I'm really struggling to find a dress I like on me, I'm barely 5 feet so maxi dresses were never a dress I wore before but now my bump makes them a bit shorter... except now it looks like I'm wearing a giant blanket because they hang off my bump. I tried on a tight maxi dress to show off my bump and I hated my extra fat that showed a lot, and I considered a shorter (knee length or just above) dress but I hate the stretch marks behind my knees😖 so I got fed up after going to like 6 stores and decided whatever I'll wear something I already have. I really wanted to dress up and feel pretty, it's a shower my friend is throwing for me this Sunday, and I don't want to seem ungrateful by showing up in jean capris and t shirt but at this point it's my only option. Anyone else not wear a dress to their baby shower? How'd you "dress up" without wearing a dress?
