Anyone had a false positive?

Question

I had a positive pregnancy test 2 nights ago so I checked it again the next morning and it was negative.   I've tested two more times since then and all negative. I've heard that means a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.   Any thoughts?

A pos. Is a pos! However, I have had the same happen a few months back..its most likely a chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage. Follow up with you doctor to be certain and good luck :)

The only times I have ever had a false positive is a chemical pregnancy and after my miscarriage......if you where had an eptopic pregnancy you'd be in a lot of pain sending you to the er that is very dangerous luv n if you think you had a miscarriage you should be evaluated n you would also experience heavy period like bleeding with clots and have pretty bad cramps as well I also took nursing and it sound like to me that you had a chemical pregnancy good luck luv n I hope this advice helps you lots of baby dust to you!🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼

I thought I had a positive test in July. The line was very faint. Called my Dr she wanted me to come in for blood work and another urine test and both came back negative. She called me with the news.

Were they digital tests? If so, that's why.

I had a positive pregnancy test 7years ago when I was in high school. 3weeks later I went to a clinic and it was negative. False positives do happen

Doesn't mean ectopic or miscarriage but possibly chemical pregnancy or no pregnancy at all
