Anyone conceived before 2 cycle wait with the methotrexate shot?

My doctor says im ok to start trying after my levels are a 5 or below, but im reading online that after this shot, i need to wait at least 2 cycles? I know all the risks associated with it, but im curious if anyone has actually gotten pregnant right away and had a healthy child afterward.

I was told to wait three cycles after the shot before trying again because the methotrexate depletes your folic acid levels and it takes time to get those back up again.

After my first shot 4 years ago I didn't get pregnant again till last month and now I have to get the shot again... Good luck!!!

My doctor told me I didn't need to wait at all after the shot. I actually ended up having surgery too. He said as long as I get my regular period, I could try again. That took about 6 weeks though. This was our first month trying after everything happened. Good luck to you!
