Belly measuring big?

Question

I had my first “belly measurement” yesterday .. the one with the measuring tape .. and my doctor told me I was measuring about 1.5-2 weeks ahead of schedule (I am 22 weeks but measuring at 23.5-24). Has this ever happened to anyone?! Does this mean I’m going to be gigantic at 40 weeks ?!

My son always measured a week ahead and was born at 41 weeks weighing 9lbs 5oz. This baby we have yet to see where she will measure but I've resigned myself to birthing another 6 month old baby 😂😂

I measured big the whole way through my first pregnancy - they did scans and said I had a lot of amniotic fluid. ..my son arrived a whopping 11lbs 15.5 ozs! 
I haven’t been measured yet this time round - 24 weeks this week. I did ask at my 20 week scan and she was measuring normal at that point though 😊

I measured big with my first (my new ob does not measure) but with my first I had excess amniotic fluid and only a 7' 11'' baby.  I'm sure I'm big this time too... it's just what my body does I guess.  and yes, you might be big.  but not much you can do.  I have always said I make big swimming pools for my kids

hi, yes this happened to me with 2 if my babies, they say that up to 2 weeks over or under is ok. I began going up to 4 weeks over and each time I was monitored and sent for growth scans (which is nice- get to see baby more) - with one I had extra fluid the other baby was born at 37 almost 38 weeks 9lb04oz. don't worry 😊😊😊

With my 4th I measured a whopping 6 weeks ahead on tape at 28 weeks  they sent me for a scan said he’d be big but not concerning  I had extra water but not too much. My water broke at 38&5 and he was 8lbs 6 ounces .
