How much are you feeding your 3 week old?

The doctor told me 3oz every 3 hours should do. We are using formula now. We did try breastfeeding but it seems like she's never satisfied. Please help!

My son is almost 3 weeks and he eats about 4 oz every 2 1/2 hours. I was breastfeeding too and hated it. Right now I pump and supplement formula and both mommy and baby are much happier :)

Has your baby gained back their birth weight? At 2 weeks my daughter had gained her weight back plus more so the doctor and the lactation consultant told me I could feed on demand and let her sleep as long as she wanted through the night. I exclusively breast feed though.

My daughter is 5 weeks old and drinks 6-8 oz ... She was born a big baby so dr says this is normal it's just the only way she is satisfied

My boy is 4 weeks and eats 3-4 oz formula every 3 hours. If he does breast milk I've pumped then it's 4oz every 2 hours if not sooner.

Breastfeeding exclusively and she is usually pretty regular at 3 to 3.5 hours. She gained 2 lb (after losing 13 oz initially) in just over 2 weeks!!
