Contractions???

So last night around 11pm I started getting really bad cramps that would come and go. I didn't time them because well my LO was moving a lot when they were happening so at first I thought that she was causing them. but they would come and go. It was a whole hour of this and by the time I decided that maybe I should time them they went away. This is the second time this has happened first time was earlier this month and they lasted about the same amount of time one hour. I just don't know if maybe they were contractions or not but they did get more painful I had to try to breathe thru them. I've googled to see if a baby will move thru contractions and everyone has different opinions. But she was going crazy when I was going thru pain making it more painful. Has anyone else experienced this?
