IUI??????

Question

Anyone who has had IUI done how many times did you have try and what was your experience? Not sure want to expect. We are trying it for the 1st Time in July. I have low egg quality so they put me on CoQ10 and I’ll start clomid and progesterone also.

I did IUI + Femara and Gonal F + Ovidrel. At my CD10 ultrasound i had 3 mature follicles. I triggered af 9:30pm on CD12. IUI on CD14 at about 10am. 
I started vaginal progesterone on CD15. I had my beta test (blood draw) on CD28 and it was positive. I’m 18 weeks + 4 days with a baby girl. 
The IUI process was a lot easier than I thought, and it took all the stress off of trying to time sex. We had sex when we wanted to except for the days before the IUI that we were told to abstain.

I’ve had it done twice and worked in my second try currently 7 weeks pregnant after 4 1/2 years ttc, was also on clomid and progesterone and had the trigger shot! And honestly it feels like when u get a Pap smear, only thing for me was the clomid gave me mood swings and hot flashes, but other than that was ok, baby dust to you! 🙏🏻

I got pregnant with my first iui. 
It was a lot of ultrasounds, letrozole, and some money. 
$400 for the iui, more for the ultrasounds, and $107 for the trigger shot. 
It was quick and easy. They just wash the speed, which took about an hour and a half, and pop it up there. 
I’m now 4 weeks 2 days :)

I got pregnant on my third IUI 🙈 I had to go through a lot to get here though: a series of oral meds from day 3 to day 7 of my cycle, injections from day 9 to day 11, an ultrasound on day 12 to see if my follicles were mature enough to be released, trigger shot on day 13, then IUI on day 15. My last IUI I actually took 2 more injections and had to wait like 4 days later than usual before I was inseminated. I was worried it was gonna be too late in my cycle but I trusted my doctor, followed his instructions, and here we are! 6 weeks pregnant! Good luck on your journey and don’t lose hope if it takes a while for you to get pregnant, everything has its perfect timing ❤️

I had four unsuccessful iui's.  Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I had saved that money and gone straight to IVF, which has much higher success rates.

On my second cycle for IUI. It is very simple! 
First cycle I was put on Clomid to stimulate follicle growth from CD3-7 and then I had a follicle ultrasound in CD11, where I produced 5 mature follicles and i did the Ovidrel HCG trigger shot that night, IUI 36 hours later. My husband produced a sample that morning and i got it to the lab within 30-40 min to be prepped & washed... then i got inseminated. The cycle failed, but I am doing another one this cycle. They switched my medication to Letrozole though this time around (CD3-7) as I responded “too well” to the clomid and it thinned my lining so much. I guess Letrozole doesn’t do that to your uterine lining.

We have been tcc for about 2 years and I will be going in to my second IUI  this cycle .. the first time was easy just a little disappointed when i got my period .. trying to be positive but this is definitely a roller coster

I just got my bfp. I took letrozole after 3 rounds of clomid. That was my first time taking letrozole. I did ovridel trigger Sunday and tested positive in opk Monday and my iui Tuesday morning. My iui process was blood test cd3 and ultrasound. Then cd 9 US (had 10, 12, 12) and trigger cd11 and iui cd 13. The nurse pushed my stomach so the iui catheter went in better. I think that helped. The doctor who did it was different from my normal doctor. So I was nervous. After that I forgot the mcdonalds fries and slept 14hrs instead. The next day I ate pineapple and drank pom juice until dpi12 spinach, 3 oysters daily, a buttload of cabbage, prenatal vitamins, cinnamon, l-argenine, and coq10. Lot of warm foods. Then lost hope after dpi 11 when I kept testing bfn until today which would have been dpi 17. I didn't even test bfp until my missed period so not everyone tests bfp right away if that gives you hope.  I got accepted by an adoption agency last Friday that's how hopeless I felt 10 days ago.
