I am in utter disbelief today. 11 years ago, my husband and I decided to start trying for baby number 2 (our son was 6 months at the time), so I went off the birth control, and we casually started trying. After a couple of years of trying, we started to seek help. For a number of years we tried and failed with fertility treatments. We even tried pre-seed, special diets, everything! Nothing worked. We finally started giving up. This last month my husband said, “screw it all. We’ll just have fun and be together.” Well... we only bded once during my “fertile period”. I have PCOS, so it’s hard to say if that was my fertile period or not, and we didn’t use anything special. Just spent time together.

Well, yesterday after work, my husband started talking to my belly ( like he does sometimes ) and I decided to test.

I got this at 5:30pm

Then.... at 11:30pm I got these....

And then I decided to get a new box and text this morning. I got these....

I am only 3 days late. That line is so dark! When I was pregnant with my son I tested at 3 days late as well and it was a faint line.

I am amazed, surprised, in awe, in disbelief, and super shocked! I just can’t believe it!

And on top of that we are moving back into our apartment this weekend. It was being renovated, and the renovations are now complete!

I went to the doctor yesterday to confirm my pregnancy. The nurse took me back to the room and told me “you are definitely pregnant.”

I still can’t believe it. It’s so amazing. What a miracle!

Tomorrow I have my OB intake. I can’t wait for that!
