Should I be worried???

Soo.. This morning When I went to the bathroom I noticed the tissue had blood on it and my period went off about 2 weeks ago and isn’t supposed to come on again until another 2 weeks from now... I’ve continued spotting all day. I’ve never had this happen before and I’m starting to get concerned that I might be pregnant. My boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex for a while now.. but is it possible I’m spotting for some other reason than being pregnant? Should I take a test? Go to the doctor? Wait?
