Murphy for a boy? Middle name suggestions?

Murphy is my boyfriend's absolute favorite boy name, if we have a boy he will almost definitely be named that. I really don't like it but I'm trying to warm up to it. Looking for middle name suggestions and nicknames other than "Murph". Last name is one syllable and starts with M.

Love it! I know a preschooler named Murphy and have loved the name since I met him. He loves his name, and it suits him well. It seems like a fun, cute name for a child, and a reasonable, chill name for an adult.

It’s not bad.  I’d avoid middle names beginning with a vowel. I like Alexander but then he’d have initials spelling MAM. Any consonant name works pretty well though.
Michael, James, Corbin, Gray, Francis, Nolan, etc.
If you really hate it then you could adopt an adorable puppy and name it Murphy. I mean, you can’t name a kid after your dog. Right?
