I hate the daring life (and you are lifesavers!)

trying to date a guy who has a kid from a previous relationship. and works terrible shifts (as I do). we've been meeting for something like a month (we've had 5 dates) and texting multiple times everyday. but nothing happens when we meet! he doesn't make a move. I don't get it! what does he want from me? yesterday in one of the conversations I told him I was interested in more than talking, he supposedly hadn't noticed 😞 then procedes to keep on texting about other subjects - but doesn't ask me out! do tou guys think he just wants to be friends? I can totally do that, cause I like his company... or is he keeping me "on reserve" or something? I just want him to be clear about it, I don't want to get hurt again... I don't really believe that guys loose interest if you are more persistent than them, but do ypu think he lost interest? (why keep texting then?)
