Am I the only one who hasn’t even started on my nursery?!?

With my first we installed new baseboards, painted, got all the furniture (crib, table, chest of drawers, bookshelf), room decor, etc. and my son stayed in my room for a year. He didn’t sleep a single night in his nursery until he was 1 lol. My point: don’t sweat it. Getting the nursery done and perfect before baby arrives isn’t as crucial and people may lead you to believe. 🤷🏾‍♀️

😂literally the last thing on my mind!!! With my son I was so excited, with this baby I’m like mih, it’ll sleep in my room for the first 4 months anyway. My biggest concern is moving our son into his new bed. This poor child is so neglected already! Life is all about his/her big brother.

Accidentally hit yes, but no, I haven’t started either. In fact the “nursery” is still filled to the ceiling with non-baby items— I think this means I’m in the negative for decorating....

I’m 21 weeks as well with my second and our nursery is actually our guest room. So we are losing some important space for my mom to stay when she’s comes from out of town. We also need to get new windows, put down new flooring, and Sheetrock because it’s the coldest room in the house and you can totally hear everything the neighbors say. Trying to figure out when to start renovations but not stressing..

we bought a house and moved in in august before my first was born in november. i think we painted in september but didn't setup or sreange anuthing until late october

We have a paint color picked out and a sample bought. But we’re cinching off other house projects first.
I started painting the maroon kitchen with beige/antique white trim after our last miscarriage. I still have crown molding and the pantry door to finish. My husband has some cutting in to do. We started renovating the master bathroom around the time I fell pregnant again. So now we’re wading through finishing off that as well.
I started a to do list on TeuxDeux to help wrap my mind around how much we can accomplish with the house before the baby is born (also on my painting wish list: laundry room, hallways + living room, master bedroom). There’s just so. much. trim! And even though we’re only going from antique white to ultra white, it takes three coats of paint to look 💯. 
But we managed to jointly kill off painting our master closet (we tore down the shelving because it was that annoying kind that doesn’t allow you to drag a hanger over the entire length and also didn’t match up in some spots). And I FINALLY started painting our kitchen pantry door that’s been on our to do list since before this pregnancy started! Trying to keep chugging along! 🚂

Nope, our baby’s room is currently the guest room and because i live abroad I want to keep the double bed in there for family visiting in the first few months until we sort something else for guests. Planning for baby to be in with us for the first 6 months, we’ve just ordered a co-sleeper. At some stage we’ll probably paint the baby’s room and get a wardrobe and drawers for clothes but I reckon we won’t buy a crib and put the whole room together until a while after baby arrives.

We have a plan, but we’ve been going through all of our possessions to have a garage sale and donate. If I don’t do it now, I never will!
