UPDATE: This baby is like a whole new kitten! Playing, eating, snuggling... he feels SO much better. ❤️ blue dawn bath and goats milk have done wonders so thanks for those suggestions! We are going to the vet today. I believe he has a “kitten cold” as well as the fleas and mites (He may have been close to death out in the rain with his cold and how lethargic and limp he was when I first brought him in) but hopefully he has nothing serious. He needs some medicine, his shots and to be neutered and I think this is the new member of our family. ❤️

My husband and I have found a stray. We saw him earlier today near the dumpster at our complex. Didn’t touch him in case he had a mother nearby. I checked later and he was still there alone. I waited a few hours to check again, he was still there. It started storming so I ran out and brought him inside. He is EXTREMELY lethargic. Goopy eyes. Bloody ears i assume from scratching ear mites. Maybe 8-12 weeks old? He ate a little dry food. (We have a cat but I’m keeping them separated of course) we washed him with some oatmeal formula kitten shampoo, picked off as many fleas as we could, gently wiped his eyes and ears, trimmed his nails... he looks 5 shades lighter from all the dirt we got off. He has not meowed, squirmed, or seemed afraid at all. He’s VERY tired and fragile, when he’s awake his eyes look a bit red/puffy and he scratches his ears often. He’s now sleeping on the heating pad in the bathroom but i’m so worried. All vet clinics are closed. Can someone help me? Why is he so lethargic? I’m afraid he may not make it through the night 😭💔 there’s a 24 hour Wal-Mart nearby. Is there something i can go buy him to help his fleas and ear mites??
