Better than Starbucks Sous Vide eggs recipe

Ha

I LOVE starbucks' eggs but hate the cost so I have been playing with different recipies for these eggs. I finally found one that I only had to tweak slightly.

Better than Starbuck Sous Vide eggs in a slow cooker

This is my edited version of the recipe I found. The one I found was not going to work with my 3 setting poor person CrockPot lol.

Ingredients

5 eggs

1/2 cup gruyère cheese (I used gouda)

1/2 cup cottage cheese

1.5 oz. cream cheese

salt and pepper to taste

cooked bacon

roasted red pepper

green onion

Blend

Combine the eggs, cheeses and seasonings in a blender and mix until the ingredients are smooth with no lumps.

Pour

Prepare small jars by coating them with non-stick spray. Place toppings like bacon, roasted red pepper and green onion in the bottom, then pour in the egg mixture until each jar is full. Place the lid on top, but save the screw-on rings for later.

Cook

Place the rings from the jar lids in the bottom of the slow cooker. Fill it about halfway with water. Place the jars in the cooker making sure the tops are exposed, but the sides are immersed in water. Set your crockpot to HIGH for 1.5 hours, use a meat or candy thermometer to monitor water temp. Once the water temp reached 165 switch your crockpot to KEEP WARM. Allow the eggs to cook for 2 hours while still maintaining the 165 temperature (I did this by removing and replacing the lid as the temperature changed)

Remove mason jars from the water and skew on the lids to store or eat right then.
