What’s the best IUD?

Question

I’m currently in the phase of choosing an IUD as a birth control method...
My doctor says I can’t have estrogen only based birth control because of my increased risk of stroke due to aura migraines
I think an IUD would be the best method because it’s one and done (hopefully)
Which one is the best? 
If you’ve had one can you tell me any side effects that occurred with any of them?

I have a copper IUD, and I love it. I love that it’s non-hormonal and doesn’t interfere with my cycle. That being said, the first 2-3 months can be a little rough. In that time frame I found that my cramping was significantly worse- called out of work a few times, lived with a heating pad on, and was taking 800 mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours on the dot. But that’s just me- I already had terrible cramps to begin with so if yours are mild to nonexistent I don’t see it being too much of a problem. My flow was also very heavy in those first few months, changing an overnight pad every 1-2 hours. But, starting on cycle 3 everything went right back to normal, and since then I’ve had no issues. I really do recommend it to people. I always tell them though to request not just your insertion day off, but the following day too, as the cramping after insertion can be brutal.

I have the mirena (it’s the only one I’ve had) and I used to get such bad cramps that I’d throw up on the first day of my period (but my period would only last 2 days). While mirena made my cramps normal again, it increased my period length to about 7 days including spotting where I have to use a pantyliner. That’s the only side effect I’ve had, overall I love it

I have had my Skyla for almost 6 months now...it's helped with things like cramps and headaches but my periods are completely whacked. 
They are never regular, sometimes come every 2 weeks and can last up to 2 and a half weeks long...and they are NOT spotting! 
I'm going to try to see at the end of the year if my doctor would be willing to switch my Skyla iud to mirena because mirena is likely to stop or lighten them.

I have paragaurd and I like it for the most part I mainly got it because it last 10 years so I don't have to worry about bc until I'm 29 and hopefully around that time or before is when I'm ready to have kids. The only negative side effects are more painful periods and heavier periods but it's my new normal now so I don't mind it

I have aura migraines too! I just went w the Paragard bc of the lack of hormones (I have enough hormonal issues I'm not adding more to the mix) and bc of how long it lasts (I'm lazy af). though it does have some uncomfortable side effects. my cramps are worse than ever before (but I can regulate it w ibuprofen) & I tend to bleed more & for longer. the doctor told me that it should only last for the 1st 6 mos so here's hoping! (I'm only like 3 mos in)

I got the Mirena a few months ago. I had never had cramps but always had heavy flow (on pills and an nothing). With the mirena I had cramps and spotting regularly for the first month and now just the week leading up to my period. Very light flow. No other issues.

I had paraguard for nine years and had no side effects. I couldn't take hormonal birth control because of my blood pressure, so this was what I got. had light periods, no cramps, just a bit longer cycles. like 34 days. when I got it removed I went to 28-29 days and got pregnant five months later

I have the skyla and it's supposed to stop your periods, and I just bleed almost all month.
