When to start buying baby stuff?👶🏽👚🧦🧢

I’m 18w5d pregnant and I go in tomorrow to find out the gender of my little one🤗But I have a burning question...when is the right time to start purchasing baby items? I’m kinda nervous to get a bunch of clothes and then god forbid something to happen, but I feel like everything is going to be ok. When did you all start purchasing baby things?

once I find out the gender, I'm going all out on my shopping. at that point, I feel it's safe to do so

I bought my crib in the first trimester. I just found out the gender Friday and started buying stuff for my baby boy.

Its never too early. If you're heart is set on having a baby it shouldn't matter. We unfortunately had a loss late last year and we'd already bought a lot of stuff including pram, car seat and cot. We are now nearly 15weeks and I feel amazing being so prepared. All that's left to get is things for me and new born clothes. I'm set for a stress free 2nd and 3rd trimester 😌

I’ll probably go buy a few things after finding out the gender but I’m waiting to see what i get at my baby shower til i go buy big stuff like bouncers and blankets and bottles etc.
