So were pregnant with our rainbow baby and my husband wants our daughter (if it’s a girl) to have his late grandmas name somewhere in there (Margaret.... nicknamed Maggie) I wanted my daughter to have my late grandmas name somewhere in there too... so we decided on.......      Maggie Gwen. 
I love it but some of my family do not!

Maggie seems more like a nickname to me but the whole name is adorable. There’s also Magnolia Gwen with a nickname of Maggie to make it feel more complete.. since I saw it didn’t like Margaret

I don't think Maggie needs a longer name. It's perfectly nice as a name on its own. I like Maggie Gwen. Your family will grow to love it.
If you're interested in a longer name then I really like the other poster's suggestion of Magnolia Gwen called Maggie. Still honors grandma, but with a modern twist.

I like it a lot. You can def do Maggie Gwen on the birth certificate if you prefer, absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I would go with Margaret Gwen if it were me, just because that’s what people normally do for that name.

love the whole name! i actually had Maggie as a top contender in my girl names list too. i think it's beautiful. sounds great with Gwen too.

I love it! We are naming our son Finn and his middle name is Jon after my dad who passed away. We got lots of judgement from our families but we love it and are keeping it. We didn’t like any longer names of Finn so we are just keeping it short. It’s not their baby it’s yours so whatever you guys love.
