So here is the thing. I sent out my gender reveal party invitations two weeks beforehand, but when we found out the gender the secret somehow came out. Many people who are invited (actually there are only a few people invited) know what we are having. I don’t want to cancel the BBQ party because I have decorations ready and was excited to do something special and share it with my friends and family back home (they can’t attend since they live in Europe). We did not officially announce the gender as of yet, but my husband is kind of nervous about people not coming. We don’t have many people coming to begin with and now that they know what we are having he is worried about no one showing up. I feel like if our closes friend are not coming because they got to find out the gender aead of time, than they are not that good friends as we would like to think.

As a side note: there is NO gift giving involved!
