For those who have one, can you tell me which breed you decided to get and why? (Pictures are nice too 😊)

My husband and I are wanting to get a pup for the family in the next year. We really want to do our research and find the perfect dog. So I’m looking for personal experience during this journey to find our new dog. We would prefer a large breed dog that is good with kids.
