Do you think it’s wrong to return or sell gifts given to your 1 year for their party?(read description)
So this wasn’t very well received in the parenting room. I feel kind of weird but I already got my son a lot of gifts on his actual birthday because I’m picky with gifts that people give. We are throwing a big first birthday party so we are expecting a good bit of quests and assuming they will bring gifts although I do wish I had mentioned before hand not to bring gifts but I think that would be kind of tacky to do that. Is it wrong if I were to return some of the gifts in exchange for something my son would prefer or for necessities? Or to sell the gifts to get money for once again things that the money would have better use for like clothing, diapers, wipes, food, ect. I fee bad but of course I wouldn’t want to tell quests what to bring and of course I will thank them and be polite.
