Am I Rushing Things?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a good 2 years now. I’m 17 years old and will be 18 next May. I feel like he is my soulmate and I could be with him for the rest of my life. I’ve seen many other teenagers my age get engaged and even married around 18 or 19 and I used to make fun of them but now I feel I want to do the same exact thing. Should I wait to see where the future takes us? Me? I’m open to any type of criticism or advice. Xx

I would wait, I mean nowadays you can move in with someone without getting married so i would jusg do that and wait a couple of years and then get married I mean there’s no real point yah know

I'm feel the same way 😂😂 emotionally I'm totally ready and so is he and we tell each other ALL the time. BUT we also know that we have plans for when we're married, like an amazing honeymoon and traveling, and we're so not ready for that yet, especially financially. We have the same level of commitment to each other as being married, so why rush things. Just enjoy that feeling with each other, get promise rings for each other! And have marriage to still look forward to for the future!

i would wait. my mom dated a guy in highschool and she thought he was her soulmate they got married at 18 and ended up getting a divorce. she ended up meeting my dad and they’ve been together for 19 years and they are still in a perfect relationship. soo i would wait just incase

live with the guy first my fiance and I started dating my freshman year of highschool. We've been together almost 5 years, there's a lot of things we didn't know about each other until we moved in together. We still aren't married and we've been engaged for a year. Just take your time.
