The soap dilemma (funny story!)

I just got married to my best friend. We’ve been together, with a couple off periods (young love problems, lol), since I was 15 and he was 16. We got married a little over a month ago at 21 and 22.

Our new apartment has those double sinks. So we each have our own sink. So we each have our own little soap bottles. All fine and good!

He moved in about a week before I did, so it would make sense for his first bottle to go out a bit before mine did. But it took maybe a month and a half, and then he started using mine and it’s not out too-less than two months after we moved in! Which is crazy to me because I’ve made one bottle last me and my former roommate and regular guests last almost 4 months, and I wash my hands every time I use the restroom and then some.

It’s not really that big of a deal, but I thought it would be funny to track our usage on the new soaps I just got us.

Mine, day one, one use so far:

Hubby’s, day one, one use:

Let’s see how long these last!*

*This is purely in jest. I love my hubs and he’s a very clean person. I just am curious about how much soap he uses per hand wash 😂

Update, 7/7/18:

Closer than I expected, but still keeping in mind that I use the restroom more than he does, he sometimes uses mine (idk why), and all our guest will use mine too.

Update, 7/16:

He has been using mine a lot lately. 🤦🏼‍♀️ And yet, his is still far more depleted.

I saw him come out of the toilet and go to mine immediately. And apparently he just pushes the plunger all the way down and some how gets twice as much as I use ???

Maybe I should use the rubber band trick! 😂

He doesn’t use most other supplies like this. He uses a lot of lotion but other than that, food is the only other thing he uses a ton of. He’ll eat three giant pudding cups in one sitting. I can’t even finish one small one most of the time, lol.
