My boyfriend and I wanted a girl. We talked about how much we wanted a girl before we even started trying. Once I found out I was pregnant in early March, I had this feeling it was going to be a boy. I looked at the first ultrasound and saw my child as a boy. All of my symptoms pointed to boy and everyone guessed boy. All of the old wives tales and even the Ramzi test said boy. I was trying not to let it get me down, because either way, boy or girl, a healthy baby is all I really wished for. With all of that being said, today at my 20 week ultrasound I was NOT expecting these results! The ultrasound tech showed me the thighs and there were those three little lines and my heart started pounding. She continued on to measure everything else before returning to the thighs and when she said “You’re having a little girl” my whole heart exploded. I guess what I’m trying to get across here is that even though every thing points to one thing or the other, it is all in God’s hands and ultimately he is the one who chooses. Trust in him.
