Is it ok for my husband to have a female coworker texting him?

Ok so my hubs is an RN and I get that he works with mostly women. But there is one in particular that keeps texting him. I was cooking for our family last night and while I was they were texting. About stupid shit. Like their contacts pictures and emojis...but I have told him I feel disrespected and that it hurt me. He didn’t apologize and just said she’s a friend and there’s nothing going on. He’s never cheated or anything. I’ve told him many times that I am not comfortable with it! He said I’m making something of nothing. But I asked if they sat together at meetings and things and he said yes. Am I being paranoid and crazy or is this just wrong on his part? I’m really struggling here knowing if I’m in the wrong or not. We have a young son and I stay home with him. Am i just going stir crazy and making something up? Ugh.
