We stayed at my husbands grandmas a while back during our home renovations. We have two dogs that stayed with us. They have very good flea collars and we’ve never had issues with them and they were not an issue while we were there.

After we moved back out, his grandma called us a week later and said we owed her $800 to have her house flea bombed because it was INFESTED. We were like whaaaat? She showed up at our house with a little ziploc baggie of about 10 fleas and said they were from her house.

We didn’t know what to do except pay the $800. We brushed and combed the dogs- no fleas. Got new flea collars ($160) And we never had an issue with them again.

So when we stayed at her house again with the dogs (more renovations)- THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED. We shelled out another $800.

Well we were taking care of her house while she was out of town and putting away some towels we’d washed for her, and found in her linen closet, hidden in the back, 5 little individual ziploc bags of fleas! !! 🤢 They each had 4-5 fleas in them.

I am beginning to think this is a clever plan to get money from us!!!!

Do we confront her???
