I had an ultrasound done today due to having some shoulder pain and the dr wanted to rule out an etopic. I am measuring a little over 4 weeks but according to my cycle I should be 6 weeks. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m concerned they only saw sac.

My doctors were 5 weeks off on my due date! (How I honestly don’t know!) when I went for my first ultrasound I should have been around 9 weeks but was only measuring about 4-5 weeks they only say the sac that was very similar to how yours looks so I wouldn’t be worried! I’m now 18 weeks and doing just fine. ☺️

this happened to me. had an ultrasound they only saw the sac, then a week and 2 days later had another and full on baby ❤ you are just to early to tell. this was my 6 week and 5 day scan

this happened to me exactly according to the app i was 6weeks 5days went in for an ultrasound and measured only 4weeks...honestly thought something waa wrong now im 34weeks with a healthy baby girl

Yup! We figured 12/9 as the due dates based off my last period. First US they said baby was measuring smaller and gave us a due date of 12/20 (which would’ve meant hubby wasn’t the dad 🤦🏻‍♀️) they had us repeat that initial US. Every appointment after that I measured 2-3 weeks ahead. Ended up with preeclampsia and gave birth 12/10....
You can also measure differently. Since you become pregnant 2 weeks into your cycle but they start the pregnancy count the day after your period ends. So you could be 6 weeks pregnant from your last period but the baby is really only 4 weeks. If that’s the case they wouldn’t see much on the US yet.

My cycles are so long and irregular so I usually ovulate around 4+ weeks after the last day of af. Cycles aren't always accurate in determining how far along you are

Went in for an ultrasound and they say I was roughly 4 weeks possibly, told them I was due for my period. ( nothing was confirmed, but same thing I had a black dot on my ultrasound) Got my period that night and it was brutal! So heavy! Had a follow up today and there was nothing there. So 4 weeks and a 6 week appt. baby dust to you! Hope it's something! :)

According to my LMP, I was supposed to be 10 weeks pregnant. But when I went in, I measured at 6 weeks. It freaked me out, but it was because I had ovulated late, I guess. I’m 31 weeks now with no problems.

exactly what happened to me. was suppose to be 6 weeks but only had a black tiny sac like yours. went in for an almost 10 week checkup and was only measuring 8 weeks.
