I’m 19 weeks with my first baby, and none of my friends or family has offered to throw a shower yet.

I know that my mom and/or mother in law would end up offering if no one else does, but sometimes I get a little envious when I see other girls having multiple showers thrown by different friends and for different friend groups. It is not about the gifts, but the thought of a friend offering to throw one that matters to me.

I guess i don’t have a TON of friends but i do have a few close friends and ones that are considered “best friends”. I also have a sister who is a lot younger than me too so i feel like she would not be very into planning a shower.

I just feel like no one wants to offer and for some reason i find that really hurtful. Just venting.... anyone else have the same experience? Am I being sensitive?
