Bloody vent session

For about the last month or so, I've been discharging tissue/skin like discharge. My period tried to start a little over a week ago but i continued to take my regular bc pills and I've been continuously spotting since. I'm about to let my period just start because there is obviously no other choice but because of this, me and my so haven't been able to have sex the last two weeks. Blood, even the smallest bit, turns him off. It's killing me, I just want to be able to make love with him and this is the longest we have gone without it.. Any advice? Anyone else gone through this?
