So my husband took me out to dinner to celebrate my birthday and the whole time I’m experiencing on and off cramping with some that were painful and some not. I’m thinking okay, Braxton Hicks and/or not enough water so I downed some water and then we went to old navy/bed bath/target and walked all around to see if that would help.....it didn’t.

Well all of those stores are by the hospital so at this point I’m getting worried bc two hours have passed and these cramps arent letting up at all or stopping. So we drove over to the hospital. They put me in a triage room and the nurse walks in with this god awful attitude and made me feel stupid for coming in to get checked. She told me that walking probably irrritated my cramping and next time stay home and try putting my feet up. At this point I’m still not hooked up to anything to check if they are contractions or not.

Finally get hooked up and thankfully they aren’t contractions bc I’m only 31w3d. Thankfully our little boy wasn’t in distress and I’m just experiencing four hours worth of cramps by now. I asked her what it could be that’s causing it and she just looked at me and made it quite clear I wasn’t in labor and it’s obviously just cramps. Well no shit.

So. Now I’m like afraid to ever go in if I have to bc of how rude this nurse was. I was scared bc I never felt cramps like that and she made me feel stupid
