My mother in law's sibling had their HUGE 50th wedding anniversary party yesterday, we were required to bring our 3wk old for her to show off. We said we didn't want a lot of people holding him. We arrive, she wakes him up, pulls him out of his carseat and is on her way to pass him around. I told her I at minimum wanted the ppl who would hold him to use hand sanitizer before doing so. Her response, "oh I'll be hearing about that from everyone forever." WTF, it's not your kid and he's only 3 weeks old. So many germs for a little guy that age. Am I crazy for being pissed at her? Protective first time mom here!
