Are you religious?

Question

I know there a ton of other religions, but that was all I could add on the poll.. 
For my religious studies course, we are learning about the five major religions. 
I thought this would be a fun question to ask. 
( I am not sure what room to post this in. I rarely get on here. I supposed it could fit lifestyle? Lol.) 
Anyways, are you religious? Why or why not?

I am “spiritual” I guess. I do believe in a God and all that but I don’t go to church or follow that type of thing anymore. I have felt more free since leaving the church I basically grew up in. I was great friends with the pastor and his family and all of the church members until an incident occurred. After that, I did not feel welcome there. I don’t think you should feel that way in church so it turned me off from the whole thing. I now only do my own thing when it comes to my religious beliefs. I pray for myself and when I feel inclined to. Not when I’m told to. I feel more connected with god this way and I almost feel as though he was trying to show me that those people aren’t living by his standards and that I would be better off practicing alone.

I was raised Catholic but I believe more in Buddhism. I still love the Catholic Church and enjoy attending mass occasionally. I just don’t believe in all of the teachings. It’s more tradition for me.

We are catholic. I guess you could say we are religious, I grew up going to church but I don’t think you have to go to church to be religious.

I am not. I grew up Catholic but once i moved out I turned atheist. I never believed to begin with it was just something my parents forced me "believe" in since they are religious. Anyways, I believe more in science. Not completely since science cant explain everything but religion and god just dont make sense to me....if that makes sense 😂

I’m “religious” for cultural/family traditional reason. I think our church is beautiful (orthodox Christian), I love the holidays, the way it has helped me grandma in many ways, our weddings, events etc etc. I read the Bible, like it’s suppose to be read, to learn lessons, not to take all the magic word for word. I disagree with some and agree with other, but I also took women’s studies and Jesus was a big feminist, one of the reasons I admire him. I also admire other religions as well and respect them very much.
