Cutting your hair?

I have really long hair and I need to trim it and layer it, but I’ve been hearing that’s it not good to cut your hair while your pregnant .does anyone know about this ?

You’re fine to cut your hair while pregnant, it makes no difference to your baby whatsoever.

I’ve not heard this. It’s common for women to cut there hair whilst pregnant (the mommy hair cut) it’s just so much easier for us pregnant women...I had my cut just below my shoulder when I was 16 weeks pregnant and it was long! I don’t regret it one bit my hair feels so much better....your hair grows well during pregnancy too

I don’t think there’s anything negative that can possibly happen if you cut your hair.

You can cut your hair. Just be aware that the texture and volume of your hair may be different while pregnant. I cut my hair short with my first and it was so full I hated the way it looked. I didn't cut it for almost a year after that.

Maybe you have heard that dyeing your hair with harsh dyes is bad during pregnancy?  But i dont think that extends to a haircut! (And I havent researched the hair dye thing so I am not weighing in on that)

The myth is that if you cut your hair while pregnant the baby will have eye problems . Thanks lady’s for calming my nerves  I went yesterday  and cut 5 inches and added 2 layers it’s still passed my hips but it’s feels so much healthier and liter

im a hair dresser and you can defo cut your hair whilst oregnant, wont do you any harm what so ever, you may find that your hair grows thicker whikst pregnant,  i recently had mine cut into a pixie style and due to pregnancy hormones i look like ive had my finger in plug socket all the time bcos its just so thick... a good trim will be healthy for your hair x
