Correct flange size?

Is this flange too big or too small? It’s a size 28mm.

I have been reading a lot to find my correct size before I buy a pump especially on spectra & medela sites on how to find the correct flange/ shield size. So I am no expert - but According to what I understood this flange is small . May be I am wrong . Will follow this post to understand better.

Too small. Your nipple should not be touching the sides of it when pumping

You should look up how to size your nipples using coins. I found out that my flanges are too big that way.

I just started using a medela pump and it only came with the 24 mm. Thought it was too big til I measured using their guide. Reassuring to know what is recommended for sure:
