39 weeks and 5 days. 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced, as of this past Monday, and since 2am I’ve had severe menstrual type cramps. Lower pelvis area. They were 30 seconds long, and 3 1/2 minutes apart.

L&D; said come in when they lasted 1 minute long. They never did.

So, I sit here with my whole abdomen now getting rock hard, and my baby hating it. Attacking every contraction. Sharp pain in my crotch, and lower back period like pain, that stretches around to the front of my lower abdomen.

Any ladies have any stories about this situation? I may be a nurse but I’m a first time mom, and I want this baby out!

I pray that I go into labor before midnight! My induction date is July 3.
