Anyone experienced with cat allergies? 🐱

I need product or cleaning recommendations on how to remove cat dander from my home. My daughter is extremely allergic to cats and we just had to rehome our cats of 5 years. She breaks into a full body rash when she comes into contact with anything they’ve been around. Has anyone done this before? My daughter is 11 months old.

I’d hire a carpet cleaner. Dust. Replace air filter. Clean your curtains. Use allergen reducing febreeze on furniture after vacuuming it.

Good luck... my dad and I are SEVERELY allergic to cats. We can instantly tell if there’s a cat in the house because to get all that dander out takes CONSTANT professional cleaning . Even then sometimes the house is to far gone for professionals to clean. I’ve been in one house that had a cat that I didn’t break out from. It was a stay at home mom, the cat wasn’t allowed down stairs or on ANY furniture, and the house was cleaned every day. I’d recommend professional upholstery and carpet cleaners, deep clean EVERYTHING, empty your vacuum outside in a separate bag tying it off. Anything that can be washed in a washer and dryer take it to a laundry mat/dry cleaner. You need to clean that house like your covering up a murder

There’s a pet something baking soda you can get it at the dollar store. You sprinkle it on the floor-couch- and vacuum it up. Helps get up anything and smells good.
