Fake labour?!

Question

Went to bed last night and woke up at 3am with contractions, not Braxton Hicks, these were painful and averaged 4-6mins apart. I was having them until about 5am at which point they stopped 😩. I am 39 weeks, what’s going on? Has anyone else experienced this? Does it mean I’m going to go into labour very soon? I don’t understand 😕

Been having the same!! They always stop.. but have been strong .. dilated to a three and lost my mucus plug this morning.. come on baby!!

I’m 38 weeks and have been having this on and off for a week, lasting about 2-3 hrs. My doctor yesterday told me they’re practice contractions. Ugh!

Any contractions that don’t lead to the real thing are Braxton .. I was the same way the other night .. back to back 3mins apart ! Called and they told me to lay down drink water eat something and if they didn’t go away in another hour go in (they had been going on for 3 hours already).. I just went to bed and woke up not feeling anything anymore . Bummer ! Hang in there momma

I have been getting strong BHs or mild contractions (let’s face it they are hard to differentiate sometimes) for over a month now. They are getting stronger to the point where they stop me in my tracks and are accompanied with period like cramps and back aches 😫
Unfortunately they only last about 2-3 hours and then fizzle out. The more active I am the more stronger the pains are so I’ve taken up walking quite a bit lately! 
I am 38+4 and on baby #3 so it’s not like I haven’t experienced contractions before.

this happened to me for more than a week.started around 38 weeks baby was born after a stretch and sweep at 39+4 😐

I had nonsto contractions yesterday. At 8pm I went to the hospital, contractions confirmed 3-4 minutes apart and very painful. Cervix checked and ffn test done, it was bh. Went home at 11.30pm and took paracetamol during the night. Contractions finally stopped around 6am.  I'm 36.6 with my csec scheduled tomorrow.
