I don’t know about the excess fluid but I wanted to offer love and support. I lost my baby at 12 weeks two weeks ago and it has been truly awful... I just want you to know that you aren’t alone. Best of luck with your D&C;, it will help bring you closure I hope.

I’m going through my 3rd miscarriage. Our baby stopped growing at 12 weeks 1 day. We found out this morning. I’m having a D&C; tomorrow morning.
One of the ultrasound techs mentioned excess fluid in the uterus. But she never answered me about what that means. Can anyone clarify this for me?

You might have an infection . Have your doctor check for pelvic inflammatory disease just to be sure you’re ok . I know someone who had three miscarriages within 7 years and found out that’s what she had . Her uterus was so swollen that she couldn’t carry the babies full term .So sorry for your loss !
