My boyfriend and I went to take my car to be serviced yesterday and it was going to take them about an hour and a half so we decided to walk back to my house. We thought it would be cool because the weather was amazing and we’d get to have long talks. Anyway, we were walking down a road talking about something serious when all of a sudden a man in a big red truck drives by and yells “n——r!”

I was shocked! We live in Washington state! Its a blue state! The majority of the ppl here are liberals so it really shocked me that someone would yell such a disgusting word like that. The thing that broke my heart ever more is that my boyfriend said he’d gotten used to it. He played video games the day before and got called that same word before:( he ever had a man call him that at a grocery store once. How can people be so disgustingly racist?! Why do they care about the color of our skin? What have POC done to them?
