Owlet or Video Monitor?

I’ve gotten so many mixed answers on this question. 😅

I did both. Loved having both and will be using for our next child coming in December. If I was going to pick one off the bat though I’d do the owlet for your piece of mind through the beginning scary newborn stage. You can always save up for a video monitor later on. I mean they don’t move much at first that you have to be worried about seeing them.

I want both but not sure if we can afford both. Instead of the owlet I might get the one that clips to the diaper.

We have both! We absolutely LOVE the Owlet. It is definitely one of the BEST purchases we made! However it is also great to actually see her when we are not in the same room as her. We can also talk to her using the video monitor and it's funny watching her reaction when we say something lol.

Video monitor is useful for a lot longer than an owlet is. But I also had baby in with me until he was six months old.
