Did you have the Quad screening?

I honestly don't want this test because knowing would just make me worry but definently wouldn't change my mind. My hubby wants me to test though. What do you ladies think?

Wouldn’t have changed our minds either but we had it to be prepared and knowledgeable of anything we might need to learn more about!

I had it, not because I would have terminated if there were an issue but by because I wanted to be as prepared as possible if I needed to do anything extra after birth or if baby would need additional support or treatments.

My doc recommended it so we just went ahead and did it. Feel like yes, no matter what the results are it won’t change how you feel, buttttt it could help you prepare for the possibilities. Up to you though, like you said either way it is what it is

The quad test was one of my favorite tests. It told me I had high inhibin A, which can be a marker for Down’s (which we ruled out with the Harmony test), but high inhibin A can also be a predictor for Preeclampsia. My dr kept an extra close eye on me because of this, and even though I didn’t develop Preeclampsia until the very end, it was still valuable information for me to have in order to hold it off. I made sure I exercised more than normal to keep my blood pressure low, and I was more aware of any symptoms for Preeclampsia (headaches, swelling, etc).
