Recurring head lice

My girls keep getting lice no matter what we do. I spend hours cleaning them and swear I get them all but then a month will go by and they’re back. We’ve bagged up and cleaned everything to no end. Now I’m starting to suspect it’s one of their friends who regularly sleep over. This is horrible!!

I go through bit by bit for days and stop seeing any lice or even eggs so it’s very frustrating.

What can I use here.
